fffarida, ever-evolving, started her musical adventure with minimal music but has since expanded her repertoire to embrace a variety of genres, all while maintaining her distinct sound. As she aims for global recognition as an Egyptian DJ, her performances are more than just music—they are an exchange of energy and emotion with her audience, a shared experience on the dance floor, reflecting her passion and joy in connecting through music.

Sharing insights from her own career, fffarida lends her voice to guide others: “What I would say to other female DJs is that we aren’t a lot, especially in the MENA region. We need to appear more. We have so much power, and we can show that power through music, the softness, the love even what we go through, it can all be expressed through our music. Show up, do the work, practice, work on the passion and do the effort to be better than yourself. Put the best version of yourself as a goal to achieve and be better than it. Hustle, because we need a lot more work and effort than any male DJ, because what we’re doing is breaking stereotypes, breaking how people view us as we should be and be what we want ourselves to be. We have more power than we think we do, we just need to believe it.”
