47SOUL announce ‘Dualism Pt.2’ and release lead single ‘The Signal’

47SOUL have announced 'Dualism Pt.2', the second chapter of their 'Dualism' EP series, set for release on June 26.

Arriving as a counterpoint to the grief-laden tone of its predecessor, 'Dualism Pt.2' captures the band in a mode of heightened urgency; louder, more connected, and resolutely forward-facing. For over a decade, 47SOUL have defined Shamstep, their hybrid sound that merges the Dabke traditions of Bilad Al-Sham with analogue synthesis, heavy basslines and hip-hop structures.

Alongside the announcement, the lead single ‘The Signal’ has been shared.

Where 'Dualism Pt.1' grappled with shock and mourning in the wake of violence across Gaza and Palestine, the new chapter pivots towards imagination and persistence. The energy here does not signal resolution, but rather a refusal to retreat.

The trio explains: “We became even more aware of how vital it is to keep a sense of hope alive in the hardest times, and of the agency musicians can have in that. We’ve been reaching outside the usual duopolies, locally and internationally, in our approach to freedom. While many chose to take new sides, we doubled down — trying to confirm the feeling that all of us can still be on the right side of history.”

The EP unfolds across three tracks: ‘The Signal’, ‘Leila’ and ‘Rajilik’, each mapping a different dimension of resistance. Driven by Dabke-inspired rhythms, the first single ‘The Signal’ transforms collective movement into a statement of presence rather than escape.
