Ali Farahani unveils 6 remixes for his memory-filled project ‘Mr. Hekayati’

Ali Farahani has unveiled six remixes of his 2024 single, ‘Mr. Hekayati’, further exploring the track's deeply nostalgic roots.

With Iranian heritage and born in Italy, the now US-based artist collaborated with Sam Vafaei on last year's initial release, incorporating his 2013 rendition of "Zir-e Gonbad-e Kabood" ("Under the Turquoise Dome"), a piece composed by Bahram Dehghanyar for the beloved Iranian children’s television program Aghaye Hekayati (Mr. Storyteller).

The initial release of ‘Mr. Hekayati’ last year also included a collaboration with Satori, who offered an alternative rendition of the track, adding his distinct sonic signature. Now, with remixes from Acid Pauli, ARKADYAN, Ephlum, Namito, Roderic and Sorä, the project takes on new dimensions, blending global influences with Farahani's personal and cultural narrative.

An Instagram post from the label Pipe & Pochet and artists reflected on the release, stating: "Mr. Hekayati isn't just a name; it's the embodiment of our childhood tales. Ali Farahani resurrects these cherished memories, breathing new life into melodies that have woven themselves into the fabric of our nostalgia."
