ALKadira shares new single from debut EP
Following the mythic ambience of ‘Elysian Rhapsody’, ‘Denouement’ brings a more grounded palette of spoken word, doubt, and rhythmic confrontation
ALKadira has released the second single from her debut EP, ‘MAJOR ARCANA’, titled ‘Denouement’.
Following the emotionally layered first track ‘Elysian Rhapsody’, a track inspired by the Greek myth of the Elysium Fields and conceived as a freeform sonic expression of transformation, the new single continues to explore introspective and philosophical themes. Described by ALKadira as “poetry, doubt, resolution, rage, calm and a dance,” ‘Denouement’ reflects a personal yet collective search for meaning. “It is me and it is us,” the artist notes, signalling the track’s wider resonance.
Blending spoken word with atmospheric electronics, the track fits within ALKadira’s sonic framework, one shaped by her background in conservatory piano, multilingual identity and diasporic experience. Syrian-born, Lebanon-grown and currently based in Paris, the artist draws from her diverse cultural roots to inform her work.
ALKadira’s debut EP, ‘MAJOR ARCANA’, is positioned as both a personal journey and a wider commentary on inner transformation. Threaded with ethereal textures and minimalist arrangements, her compositions reflect a space “where the self dissolves into possibility and is forged anew.”
