AMPISH releases new double single, ‘Aleatoire / Exit Strategy’
AMPISH returns to Songspire Records with new captivating tracks
Egypt-based DJ and electronic music producer AMPISH has released a new double single on the Amsterdam-based label Songspire Records.
The release, entitled ‘Aleatoire / Exit Strategy’, sees AMPISH delving deeper into the realms of melodic house and techno, trading the trance stylings of the artist’s earlier work for a more progressive and intricate sound.
‘Aleatoire / Exit Strategy’ follows on from his latest remix for ‘Cold Flames’ by D-Rhapsody and Matteo Gargallo, which came out in the early April this year. AMPISH’s debut on Songspire Records was another double single in 2019, entitled ‘Dahomey / Profound’. The artist’s latest solo release on the label last year saw the artist make a come-back after a two-year hiatus after his remix for A Boy Called Joni’s ‘Green Astronauts’.
The tracks ‘Aleatoire’ and ‘Exit Strategy’ exude a potent mix of haunting beats and grinding sounds that captivate and enthrall, culminating in a beautifully orchestrated crescendo.
AMPISH signifies Hazem Beltagui's latest artistic evolution, as he makes an all-together shift towards deeper, darker, more progressive and melodic sounds, straying from the trance-centric soundscapes he previously crafted under his real name in the 2010s. Beltagui has also created music under the monikers Dark Sahara, H4Z3 and Nino Alvarez.
