Lebanese violinist and producer Andre Soueid has mapped out a run of dates across North America, Australia and India, with several shows already wrapped and more to follow into November.
The artist opened his tour earlier this month in Montréal on 2 October, followed by nights in Ottawa the next day and Toronto on 4 October. He then headed into the US, performing in Detroit on 10 October, New York on 11 October and Miami on 12 October, before finishing his North American leg in Houston on 17 October and Hollywood on 18 October.
His next dates take him to the Australasian region and South Asia: he will be at Ivy in Sydney on 25 October, then at Sora in Adelaide on 31 October, before two shows at Track Lounge in Melbourne on 2 November and 3 November. After that, Soueid travels to Bali for a performance at Nuanu Labyrinth on 8 November, followed by Indian cities with gigs at Soho in Delhi on 21 November, Xora in Hyderabad on 22 November and Salud in Goa on 23 November.
Known for starting violin at the age of six and later merging his classical training with deep house and melodic techno, he has built a sound that crosses genres and cultures.
