Electronic music trio ARKADYAN have collaborated with Bob Sinclar on a new Africanism single, entitled ‘Leleley’.
The trio’s latest offering is a vibrant homage to Balkanic music, infused with joyous vocals and the strumming of a friend's guitar, capturing the essence of communal celebration and dance. In an exciting turn of events, the track caught the ear of none other than Bob Sinclar, leading to a groundbreaking collaboration that promises to elevate ‘Leleley’ to new heights. Sinclar's touch on the track is a reflection of ARKADYAN's growing influence and their ability to bridge worlds through music.
Elaborating on the collaboration with Africanism (a side project from Bob Sinclar), ARKADYAN said: “Balkanic music always inspired us and we wanted to create a new song that people could sing along with a big smile during our parties. Remembering one vocal part of a jam with our friend Olivier in France a few years ago, we were thinking of creating a track inspired by this, he agreed to record his voice and guitar for us to work on it in a happy balkanic vibe. As most of our music is to bring people happy and dancing, ‘Leleley’ was straight away a good success on the dance floors in addition that we always play it live with trumpets, percussions, vocals and energy. DJ & producer friend Demayä advises us to contact Africanism music label to try our luck on ‘Leleley’. Bob Sinclar himself replied that he liked the track and was ok to rework it to make it sound even better. How to decline this offer. We are now very happy of this collaboration track with Bob Sinclar and happy to finally share it to the world.”
Supporting the track is the official music video, directed by Hamed Aldaher, which captures the trio in action, surrounded by a multicultural crowd in cosy settings.
