Ash and Felukah release ‘On My Mind’ with music video shot in Qatar

Egyptian artists Ash and Felukah have joined forces to release their collaborative single, ‘On My Mind’, a track that blends Middle Eastern influences with tropical house elements.

‘On My Mind’ features a soulful, dance-ready beat, complemented by Ash's fusion of traditional instrumentals and electronic sounds, alongside Felukah's laid-back delivery of lyrics in both Arabic and English. The track intertwines cultural influences, highlighting Ash’s distinctive style alongside Felukah’s rhythmic verses.

As SceneNoise has reported, the collaboration was conceived in 2023, shortly after the artists first met, and was later premiered during Ash's debut live concert at the Pyramids of Giza on October 18, 2024.

The now Montreal-based Egyptian multi-instrumentalist Ash is known for his genre-defying style that seamlessly weaves the rich musical traditions of his heritage with electrifying electronic sounds. With over 1 billion streams and a rapidly growing fanbase, his debut album, ‘Self-Discovery’, released in February 2024, was one of the most notable releases of last year, offering a deeply personal journey through his musical evolution.

Felukah, now based in New York, has been making waves with her innovative approach to Middle Eastern hip-hop fused with Afrofuturism. Her work includes collaborations with notable artists from the SWANA region and a feature in a cover of Queen's ‘A Kind of Magic’ for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Accompanying the release, the official music video was filmed at Our Habitas Ras Abrouq in Qatar, capturing the track’s immersive atmosphere against a striking Arabian Gulf backdrop.
