ASLN, Tamar Reili and Hello Vera cover Nancy Ajram’s 2004 hit ‘Aah W Noss’
The trio revisit the title track from Nancy Ajram’s fourth studio album, originally written by Ayman Bahgat Amar and composed by Tarek Madkour
ASLN, Tamar Reili and Hello Vera have released their cover of Nancy Ajram’s 2004 hit “Aah W Noss”.
Originally released as the title track of Ajram’s fourth studio album Ah W Noss, the song was written by Egyptian lyricist Ayman Bahgat Amar and composed by Tarek Madkour. Released in 2004, it became a major pan-Arab success, further establishing Ajram as one of the region’s leading pop artists. The accompanying music video was directed by Lebanese filmmaker Nadine Labaki.
The new version brings the song into an electronic setting, with ASLN handling the production alongside DJ and violinist Hello Vera. Tamar Reili provides the vocals for the project, bringing a new interpretation to Ajram’s original rendition.
The release also follows previous collaborations between ASLN and Hello Vera, including “Albi Enak”. ASLN has continued to build a catalogue across electronic and Afro House, with a sound driven by African percussion and layered with ethnic melodies and oriental soul, while Hello Vera has appeared on a number of electronic releases in recent years.
