Bídlee’s 11-track debut album ‘DIY’ is a daring odyssey into the realms of sound, where modular synths pulse with life, crafting a sonic landscape that is as deep and intricate as the ocean.
Qatari producer Hamad Al-Obaidly, professionally known as Bídlee, bridges the gap between the past and the future in his debut album, weaving a musical panorama that dances to the rhythm of harmony and innovation. Within the collection of eleven tracks, there are also two notable collaborations with Zohki and Hector Moran.
With the launch of Obaidlí Records in 2020, Bídlee not only contributed to the minimal techno scene but also aimed to create a platform for artists to push the boundaries of electronic music. To date, the label has showcased releases like Zohki and Bídlee's ‘Down The Road’ EP, ‘Buruka’ EP from Hector Moran with a Sublee remix, and BRYZ's ‘Coral’ EP among its catalogue. ‘DIY’, available on digital and vinyl, marks the label’s 4th release.
Bídlee is also known with his dedication to live performances and DAWless setups that adds a dynamic, organic touch to his music, making each performance a unique experience.
‘DIY’ is a journey through the depths of musical expression, inviting listeners to explore and truly feel the music. Listen to it below.
