Boyd Schidt among artists on EvilGroove’s latest compilation

Tbilisi-based DJ and producer Boyd Schidt is among those featured on a new 10-track compilation by US label EvilGroove.

The release arrives via EvilGroove, the techno imprint owned and operated by Lindsey Herbert and PLEASURES. Known for championing deep, driving, hypnotic and groove-laden works, the label continues to spotlight forward-thinking techno artists across its catalog.

Boyd Schidt is the solo project of Levan Lolishvili, regarded as one of the pioneers of Tbilisi’s electronic music scene. Launched in 2010 alongside his work with Greenbeam & Leon, the project has grown into an internationally recognised name. His productions have appeared on Berlin’s Sonic Groove, KHIDI, Gordo Traxx, Omen Records and Renegade Methodz, among others, adding to a discography that balances weighty club functionality with experimental depth.

The compilation features tracks from a wide range of international artists, including GCOD with ‘Mutual Hate’, Andrea Riffo with ‘Red Oscillations’, Joshua Calleja with ‘Few Hours Before’, Ramsey Neville with ‘Imminent Collapse’, Farceb with ‘Lattice Distortion’, Toru Ikemoto with ‘DONT PLAY 356’, SMT & Bondaruk with ‘Inclinando la Cancha’, Solitario with ‘Algoritmo’, and Vxlr with ‘Run to Failure’. Boyd Schidt contributes ‘Nuptial Flight’, standing out as the sole artist on the compilation hailing from the SWANA region.
