Burj Khalifa becomes Armin van Buuren's record-breaking stage in epic performance
Armin van Buuren has broken two world records with his DJ set on Burj Khalifa
Armin van Buuren has shattered two world records by performing a DJ set on the Burj Khalifa building in Dubai, the tallest building in the world.
The 40-minute DJ set took place on a balcony near the top of the towering 328-metre-tall structure and featured the DJ, producer, and label owner’s signature blend of electro-house and trance that fills stadiums. A recording of the record-breaking set, captured by 18 cameras, four drones, and a helicopter, has been uploaded to YouTube.
Armin Van Buuren’s soaring DJ set broke two world records: the highest performance atop the tallest building on the planet and the largest LED screen used for a show. Whatsmore, the set was accompanied by colossal audio-reactive visuals that spanned the entire length of the building.
This transcendent DJ set wasn't just about the records and the heights. It was a strategic overture to introduce the imminent Middle East premiere of UNTOLD, a mega festival that is poised to make history in Dubai come February 2024. Having already marked its indelible presence in Romania with eight sensational editions, UNTOLD is ready to cast its enchantment upon the Middle East, gracing the captivating Expo City Dubai, UAE. While the star-studded DJ lineup remains tantalisingly concealed, one thing's for certain: Armin van Buuren, an integral figure since UNTOLD's genesis in Romania back in 2015, is fervently assuring that the upcoming extravaganza will be nothing short of exceptional.
