CEAUS makes Anjunadeep debut, clinching title of label's youngest signed artist
The 23rd instalment of the ‘Anjunadeep Explorations’ EP series opens with ‘Horizon’, CEAUS’ collaborative track with Chris Luno featuring Keilimei
The Istanbul-based producer, live act and DJ CEAUS (Demir Yurdabayrak) has become the youngest artist to ink a deal with the London label Anjunadeep, with his newly-released collaborative track ‘Horizon’.
The Anjunadeep Explorations EP series is back with its 23rd instalment. The various artist series, which showcases emerging talent from the global electronic music scene, has previously launched the careers of many beloved Anjunadeep artists, including Marsh, Simon Doty, Luttrell, and CRi.
The 8-track compilation begins with ‘Horizon’, a mesmerising collaboration between CEAUS and German producer Chris Luno, featuring the enchanting vocals of Paris-based singer Keilimei.
This release follows Chris Luno’s recent debut on Lane 8’s label This Never Happened. Chris has previously received support from Diplo, Gordon City, and Claptone, collaborated with Tube & Berger, and amassed over 35 million views on his YouTube channel since launching his popular YouTube mix series in 2020. CEAUS, at just 19 years old, also boasts an impressive resume with releases on Nora En Pure’s Purified Records and Colorized, as well as support from reputable radio stations such as SiriusXM.
CEAUS was a mere 16-year-old when he signed with Anjunadeep 3 years ago, and his track ‘Horizon’ has finally been released after a long wait.
CEAUS has told Mixmag MENA that he also primes for a September EP on Purified Records, followed by an October release on Colorized, with his Anjunadeep odyssey thriving in the midst and culminating in a sonorous showcase on the label's Anjunadeep Edition streaming series, slated for August 24.
