An official teaser has dropped for the upcoming David Bowie documentary Moonage Daydream.

Moonage Daydream will be about Bowie's musical, artistic, personal and spiritual growth - and features exclusive archival content which has never been seen before.

The documentary also includes 40 remastered songs and conversations with the star which have never been shown to the public before.

The film, directed by Brett Morgen, was premiered at Cannes Film Festival on May 23, and will be arriving in cinemas across the globe from September. Brett Morgen has previously directed Kurt Cobain: Montage of Heck.

Some of Bowie's most infamous tracks will be featured in the upcoming documentary, including 'Changes', 'Starman', 'Rebel Rebel', 'Fame', and 'Ziggy Stardust'.

In November 2021, Variety reported that the film would be “neither documentary nor biography, but an immersive cinematic experience built, in part, upon thousands of hours of never before seen material.”

The project has reportedly taken around four years to develop and has involved watching thousands of hours of Bowie footage.
