Jump into DJ Plead’s 4-track EP, ‘Quick’

Aussie-Lebanese DJ and music producer DJ Plead (Jarred Beeler) has released a new 4-track EP, entitled ‘Quick’.

Since making his debut in 2018, DJ Plead has developed a distinctive sound, focusing on inventive percussion use and sophisticated melodic hooks that draw lines between various global dance music cultures without following any predetermined recipes. The ‘Quick’ EP marks the artist’s third appearance on the Bristol-based label, following his 2020 EP ‘Going For It’ and his solo tune ‘Glebe!’ which was featured on the label’s ‘Molten Mirrors: A Decade of Livity Sound, Pt. 1’ compilation last year.

Livity Sound Recordings comments about DJ Plead’s latest EP in the press release: “Shaped out by acutely angled rhythms, shifting time signatures and bold licks, Quick EP further establishes him as a vital, individual talent with the kind of flexible club tracks that bend between scenes and inject vibrant energy into the dance.”

DJ Plead has also been one of the artists whose track is featured in a mix by a Mixmag cover star; his another solo tune ‘Title Unknown’ is included in Logic1000’s cover mix in February 2021.
