DOBé returns to Katermukke with new EP, 'Lyman'
French artist John M lends his vocals to the title track
DOBé is back with his second EP on Katermukke, titled 'Lyman'.
The title track, featuring the haunting vocals of French artist John M, delivers a memorable melodic journey that highlights their unique artistic chemistry. DOBé says he first discovered John M with his collaboration with Opposite Ways on a 2021 release titled 'Do Yourself'.
This time DOBé and John M create a sound that is both profound and enchanting in the title track. Complementing this opening track is 'Solstice', a solo production that delves into darker, deeper melodic techno, offering a compelling contrast to 'Lyman'. The contrasting styles of 'Lyman' and 'Solstice' ensure the EP appeals to both melodic techno enthusiasts and club-goers alike.
DOBé made his Katermukke debut in 2023 with the two-track EP 'Hayashi', featuring the title track and 'Cepheid', both solo productions.
