Manjam Records launches with Elayn’s debut album, ‘Enhiar’
The nine-track album blends a variety of instruments and rhythms to create a rich sonic palette
The Aleppo-hailing, now Berlin-based artist Elayn has released his debut album, ‘Enhiar’, on his newly established label, Manjam Records.
Following his first EP, ‘Shatat’, the album blends a variety of instruments and rhythms to create a rich sonic palette, and introduces listeners to a journey through diverse soundscapes, ranging from warm, deep bass lines to raw, distorted sounds that resonate well with techno enthusiasts. While the nine-track album predominantly targets the dance floor with its dynamic tracks, it also ventures into ambient and experimental territories, offering a fresh perspective on electronic music.
Having started his musical journey with the oud at 14, Elayn’s passion for sound has grown, influencing his work profoundly. Now a creative figure in Berlin's electronic music scene, he has contributed to the city’s vibrant culture through his involvement in queer parties and the underground scene. Elayn views the dance floor as a space of liberation and empowerment, themes that are deeply embedded in his music and personal ethos.
‘Enhiar’ is an intimate reflection of Elayn’s journey, intertwining his architectural precision with his musical and visual artistry. Listen to the album tracks below.
