Freaks of Nature announces brand-new concept and dates for 2022 edition: Freaks of ARAVEIA

Freaks of ARAVEIA is ready to light up the desert skies in Riyadh this November.

Freaks of Nature returns on the 3-4 November 2022 with a brand-new concept for its third edition, Freaks of ARAVEIA. Taking over the Al Duhami Equestrian Center for two nights, Freaks of ARAVEIA which is presented by Disrupt Group will light up the desert skies in Riyadh with stunning visuals, flamboyant costumes and vibrant colours as well as 10 international headliners including Mesto, Seth Hills, Kaaze and Toby Romeo.

A strong line up of more than 25 local favourites will be performing, including DJs and MCs Dish Dash, Cosmicat, Alaa Jazaeri, Sound of Yaz and RDJ, along with special guests and the winner of the first ever Freaks of Nature DJ competition, perform back-to-back across three stages.

Speaking on the festival’s new edition, Yazeed Al Hashim, Chief Disruption Officer at Disrupt Group, says, “We’re back with a bold new idea to take the Saudi music scene by storm. Freaks of ARAVEIA builds on the success of the previous two editions and takes the concept in a new direction with a third stage and more local and international artists than ever before. This time we are holding the event outdoors, adding to the ambiance and allowing guests and artists to express themselves fully. We are all looking forward to performing under the stars and lighting up the night sky with lasers, lights, smoke machines and a top-class line-up of artists, and I would like to thank the Al Duhami Equestrian Center for hosting the festival.”

The festival will also host art installations, local clothing brands, a pop-up night market zone, and the hottest street food trucks serving delicious creations throughout the weekend.

Freaks of Nature debuted in December last year, attracting a capacity crowd of 300 revellers. The follow up in May 2022, more than tripled that figure as headliners James Hype and We Damnz closed the show to over 1000 attendees. This year’s third edition is set to far exceed that number as the event continues to evolve into a full-on sensory experience and a bold expression of music, art and creativity.

Freaks of ARAVEIA is Created, organized and hosted by Disrupt Group, and supported by official hotel partner DoubleTree by Hilton Riyadh Financial District. The hotel will be creating accommodation and hospitality packages to offer a unique experience for out of town and overseas visitors.
