Mixes from Future Forward Media artists are on Apple Music now

Creative media collective Future Forward Media has started a special mix series on Apple Music. The four-year-old collective, which includes a creative agency, an event organisation division, a talent management department and record labels, also released "The Void", the first electronic music compilation album released on NFT platforms last year.

Speaking of the partnership, head of Future Forward Media’s record label division Zahid Sarihan says, "We are extremely grateful for the opportunity to have our mix series on Apple Music. We believe it’s a big step forward for ever growing electronic music culture in Turkey. Carefully curated monthly DJ mix series will allow us to deliver the label’s catalog from up and coming artists from the region."

Last year, Apple announced it had “developed a new process to identify and fairly compensate all of the individual creators featured in thousands of DJ mixes. In cooperation with major and independent labels, Apple Music is directly paying rights holders within these DJ mixes and creating long-term monetary value for all creators involved, a feat that was once deemed impossible until now.”

The series has started with a mix from Triart, an Istanbul-based trio consisting of Furkan Kilicaslan, Gorkem Gokkaya and Ensar Sahin. Check it out below.
