Glowal headline Overground’s LYF season opening party

Italian duo Glowal, comprising Fabio Giannelli and Alessandro Gasperini, are set to headline Jordan-based collective Overground’s season opening party for their LYF event series on January 20, Friday.

The musical journey of Glowal began in 2017 when the duo were brought together by their mutual love of music. In 2019, they released their EP ‘Roda’, a collection of melodic radio cuts featuring Simon Batten, which displayed their versatility and mastery of understated beats and slow-building, throbbing melodies. Their subsequent releases addressed the destruction of the environment and had an energy that set dance floors on fire. The duo’s 2022 album ‘Trigger Your Sense’, released on Agoria’s label Sapiens Recordings, is the culmination of their creative efforts. The hour-long piece of electronica-driven ‘developed techno’ consists of gentle ebb and flow, interspersed with skittish vocals and subtle beats. Glowal’s music is an experience that is sure to bring any club night alive and bring people to the dance floor.

The end of 2022 saw a mini remix EP for the title track of their latest album as it was reimagined by Undercatt and Santiago Garcia.

Kicking off the night will be Montreux and Amman-based DJ Roo, before Glowal take the reigns as headliners.
