GoodFellas and KNZ collaborate for art-infused event in Bahrain
The event will feature performances by Sam Gino, JEME, K.LED, Zone+ and Renad, and visual art by Dana AlHammadi, Mohamed AlAnzoor and Sheikha Mohamed Khalifa
GoodFellas and KNZ are set to deliver a remarkable event on August 9 at Teres Bahrain.
The line-up features notable artists from the region and beyond. Representing KNZ are JEME and K.LED, while local favourite Renad will also perform. Special guest Zone+, a Soundscapes resident with releases on prestigious labels like All Day I Dream and Anjunadeep, is set to captivate the audience. GoodFellas' own Sam Gino will also take the stage, showcasing his talent and representing Dubai's Gate 2 collective.
As for the visual artists, Dana AlHammadi, a young Bahraini artist, is passionate about showcasing human behaviour, emotions, nature, animals, and fantasy through her abstract artwork. Mohamed AlAnzoor, an architect and self-taught painter, creates art deeply influenced by the interplay between music and colour. Sheikha Mohamed Khalifa, a Bahraini and Sri Lankan multi-disciplined artist, explores the duality of her identity and draws inspiration from nature, emphasizing self-similarity, repetition, and interconnection in her art.
Attendees can expect a visually rich environment as the event blends art and music. Real paintings by local artists will adorn the venue, turning it into a gallery-like space where abstract art complements the electronic sounds. This artistic fusion will offer a unique sensory experience.
GoodFellas, established three years ago as a silent experiment, has grown into a collective fostering creativity and community. The group's mission includes enhancing the quality of the crowd in Bahrain's underground scene by creating events that resonate with contemporary trends while honouring past influences. GoodFellas also plans to expand its reach through merchandise, branding, podcasts and collaborations.
KNZ, led by Jeme, aims to bridge cultural gaps through music. Originating as a record label in Los Angeles in 2017, KNZ evolved into an event organiser in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The collective focuses on nurturing artistic talent and creating inspiring experiences.
The event will be captured by the regional talent Aigul Nigmatullina.
