Techno wizard Jeff Mills provides soundtrack for Dior's Fall 2023 collection show
The runway show took place in front of Egypt's Pyramids of Giza
Dior's Men's Fall 2023 collection provided a stunning visual experience for fans of the brand and fashion enthusiasts. The beautiful scenery and impressive designs were enhanced by a fitting soundtrack.
The science fiction-influenced collection, named Celestial, was revealed in front of the Pyramids of Giza on December 4. Kim Jones, artistic director of Dior, called on the global techno wizard and the AXIS Records founder Jeff Mills to produce the soundtrack for the runway show. Jones stated that techno symbolised the futuristic elements of the 75-piece range.
American artist Jeff Mills’ soundtrack project follows the release of his latest three-track EP, ‘Extension’, which came out in the late November in both digital and vinyl formats. This spring, he also released two albums, ‘Wonderland’ and ‘Mind Power Mind Control’. The former included tracks under the Detroit artist’s new Jeff Mills And The Zanza 22 alias.
