Kaskade releases 7-track EP, ‘REDUX 006’

Kaskade has released his eagerly awaited REDUX 006 EP, an exquisite collection of seven house anthems that encapsulate the essence of his revered REDUX brand.

The EP by the 7-time Grammy nominated artist begins with "Brighter," a collaboration with Emmit Fenn, that sets an electrifying stage with its cinematic soundscapes and pulse-quickening synths - a true skin-tingler of an opener. Following suit are standout tracks like "About Us," blending Kaskade's deep house rhythms with a nod to garage, and "Meaning of Love" with Digital Youth, draping lo-fi melodies over a lounge-like backdrop. Then, in "Turn You Up" with Winn Winn, he meshes spoken word with a rich, deep production. The pinnacle, perhaps, is "On My Way," a groove-laden journey marked by its resonant bass and rhythmic allure. A decade into its journey, REDUX remains a heartbeat of Kaskade's oeuvre, with its sixth edition reaffirming his status as a maestro of dance floor euphoria.

Kaskade, a stalwart in the electronic music scene for nearly 20 years, boasts an enviable catalogue: 12 albums, 7 GRAMMY nods, historic sold-out shows at Navy Pier, Chicago and LA's Staples Center, and pioneering a Vegas residency. As the first electronic headliner at Coachella and a collaborator with stars like Alicia Keys and Jennifer Lopez, he seamlessly fuses his signature sound across genres. Venturing into gaming, he's an industry trailblazer, even crafting a full season's soundtrack for Rocket League. Post-quarantine, he emerged triumphant, making history at LA's SoFi Stadium as the first solo headliner to sell out and perform. His recent foray with deadmau5 as Kx5 cements his perpetual impact on the dance music landscape, mesmerising fans, both dedicated and newly minted, with each new venture.

Download / stream the EP here, and mark your calendars for Kaskade's REDUX-themed shows on November 17 at Chicago’s Cermak Hall and on December 1 at Miami’s Club Space.
