Levent Ozbay propels ‘Future Intrusion’ on his latest EP
The three-track release includes a remix from MPathy
DJ/producer Levent Ozbay has released his first material of the year, a three-track EP titled ‘Future Intrusion’.
Landed via Harabe Black, the EP captivates with its strong, club-ready beats and storytelling vocals. The title track sets a distinct mood with its dystopian bass and jubilant synths, sketching a clear atmospheric picture. The second original cut, ‘Hazard’, contrasts with more emotional timbres, building with deviating melodies. MPathy's remix on the EP ensures an underground remix that heightens the project’s intensity, promising listeners a profound experience.
Speaking on the EP, Levent Ozbay shared: “’Future Intrusion’ boasts a powerful rhythm aimed squarely at the club's mainstage and features vocals that perfectly complement its narrative. The track's dystopian bass and exuberant synths create a distinct atmosphere that captivates the listeners. The second track of my EP, 'Hazard', veers towards a more B side feeling, elevating through contrasting melodies against its emotional backdrop, promising to keep the energy on the dance floor at all times. MPathy also contributes to the EP with a remix of ‘Future Intrusion’. It's an underground remix that stays true to the original story while maximising the track's impact, I’m sure listeners will feel its intensity.
“Looking ahead to 2024, my agenda is bustling with new projects, including an upcoming release of a remix for Sophie Hunger's acclaimed track ‘There Is Still Pain Left’, a collaborative effort with Mert Harmankaya.
