Marco Lys teams up with Steve Lawler on joint DFTD debut, ‘If Only You Knew’

Italy-based DJ/producer Marco Lys (pictured) has teamed up with house music producer, DJ and the VIVa Music boss Steve Lawler on a new single, entitled “If Only You Knew”.
With a career spanning more than twenty years, Marco Lys has cemented himself as one of the most respected producers in the tech house scene. Over the years, he has clocked up releases on revered imprints such as Positiva, Rising Music, Nebula, Oxyd, Audio Therapy, Defected, Rise, Strictly Rhythm, Great Stuff and Toolroom. “If Only You Knew” is Marco Lys’ debut on DFTD, a-sub-label of Defected Records focussing on quality-fresh tech vibes.
The elegant production retains a rhythmic pulse at its core with classic NY house influences, while the buoyant groove carries an irresistible weight to appeal to the clubbers. With a soaring vocal provided by Joy Farrukh, this powerhouse combination of talent not surprisingly delivers on this unabated club cut.
