Having worked with artists, labels, festivals and agencies across the world, Mariann Krott remains a key figure in the international touring ecosystem

While artists often occupy the spotlight, the global electronic music industry is sustained by a network of professionals working behind the scenes to keep tours moving, productions running and careers developing. Among them is Mariann Krott, whose work across artist management, touring, live events and creative execution has made her a familiar figure throughout the international dance music community.

With more than 20 years of experience spanning EDM, trance, progressive, melodic and underground electronic music, Krott has built a career centred on artist development and large-scale operational management. As a certified event manager specialising in artist and tour management, she has worked across multiple areas of the industry, from coordinating international touring schedules and overseeing live productions to managing relationships between artists, labels, agencies and promoters.

Her career began alongside trance pioneer Paul van Dyk, an experience that provided an early introduction to the demands of international touring and artist management. Over the years, that foundation evolved into a broader career that has seen her work with a wide range of artists across the electronic music spectrum.

The list of artists she has collaborated with includes Giuseppe Ottaviani, Jorn van Deynhoven, KAAZE, Jaytech, Robin Schulz, Talla 2XLC, Myon, Hugel, Ruben de Ronde, Genix, Roger Shah, Farius, Pretty Pink and many others, reflecting a career that has crossed multiple scenes and generations within dance music.

Beyond artist management, Krott has also developed longstanding relationships across the label, festival and agency sectors. Throughout her career she has collaborated with organisations including Armada Music, Anjunabeats, Enhanced Records, Insomniac, A State of Trance, CAA, Dolby Atmos, Tomorrowland, Live Nation and Transmission Festival, among numerous agencies, promoters and touring companies worldwide.

Those who have worked with Krott frequently point to her ability to navigate the logistical and creative demands that accompany international touring. Her work often sits at the intersection of production, management and artist relations, requiring an understanding of both operational detail and long-term career strategy.

Despite an extensive track record, Krott remains focused on adapting to an industry that continues to evolve. Speaking about her approach, she notes that she is motivated by finding solutions where others may see limitations, particularly when helping artists realise creative ideas that initially appear difficult to execute.

As electronic music becomes increasingly global and interconnected, professionals capable of bridging creative ambition with practical execution remain essential. After more than two decades in the industry, Mariann Krott continues to play that role, contributing to projects, tours and artist careers that reach audiences across the world while largely remaining behind the scenes.
