Mixmag MENA and Hence, present ‘Solstice Sessions’ at Dubai’s Monkey Bar Terrace
The December 21 event featuring DOBé, Gloria, Jayesh, Masry, Saade, Mo Ezabyy and Sam & Tonic will unfold on the year’s longest night
Mixmag MENA and Hence, are excited to showcase DOBé, Gloria, Jayesh, Masry, Saade, Mo Ezabyy and Sam & Tonic at Monkey Bar Terrace in Dubai on December 21, Saturday.
Berlin-based DJ/producer DOBé is renowned for his emotive techno soundscapes that blend deep tech and melodic techno elements. His latest release, 'Node’, demonstrates his knack for composing deeply moving melodies that resonate with audiences.
Gloria, co-founder of Abu Dhabi's 'Anywhere' house and disco party series, is celebrated for her deep dives into tech-house, nu-disco and funk. Her mission is to infuse the vibrant energy of the global house music scene into the region, creating memorable events filled with uplifting vibes.
Jayesh's passion for disco was ignited by the legendary Indian composer Bappi Lahiri. This inspiration led him to become a 'vibe setter’, delivering energetic sets that elevate the mood of any crowd. Masry masterfully curates his sets with a genre-fluid approach, intertwining acid house grooves, breakbeat rhythms and popular favourites for an eclectic sonic journey.
Saade, founder of Underground House Syria, has been instrumental in promoting electronic music in the region since 2017. His platform has provided a stage for emerging artists and fostered a vibrant underground scene. Joining him on the decks will be Mo Ezabyy, a tastemaker and vinyl collector with a deep appreciation for music and art, who is driven by his mission to shape and establish a flourishing and dynamic club culture in the region.
Incorporating ethnic and downtempo elements alongside the rhythmic allure of reggaeton and Afro beats as well as future and tech house, Sam & Tonic will be another DJ adding a vibrant and eclectic touch to the event.
Boasting a richly diverse line-up, “Solstice Sessions” by Mixmag MENA and Hence, at Monkey Bar Terrace is set to be a signature event during Dubai's second-to-last weekend of the year, celebrating the longest night with an extraordinary fusion of dance music.
