MOGA Festival returns to Essaouira with Bedouin, Bonobo, DJ Tennis and more
The 2025 edition will feature a two-part format with OFF events in and around Essaouira’s historic centre followed by IN programming at the Hôtel Le Golf d’Essaouira & Spa

MOGA Festival has announced its return to Essaouira for a sixth Moroccan edition, set to take place from 1 to 5 October 2025.
Known for its curated mix of music, culture and coastal charm, MOGA will once again split its programme between the historic city centre and the Hôtel Le Golf d’Essaouira & Spa. The first two days will feature OFF events across Essaouira’s old town, followed by three days of IN programming at the hotel site, which will host four stages (Main, Garden, Wild and Terrace), alongside art installations, wellness activities and culinary showcases.
The first wave of artists offers a cross-section of house, techno, minimal and adjacent styles, with names including Bedouin, DJ Tennis, Bonobo (DJ Set), Patrick Mason, Arymé, Steve O’Sullivan (Live), Apollonia, Folamour and Saoirse. More than 70 artists are expected to perform across the five days.
Launched in 2016, MOGA was originally conceived as a boutique event celebrating electronic music in dialogue with Moroccan heritage and the laid-back rhythms of Atlantic life. That ethos continues in 2025, with a programme that balances international talent and local sounds while encouraging exploration of Essaouira’s cultural identity.
Attendees can expect performances under open skies, dips in the on-site swimming pools, and moments of reflection under the palm groves. Like its Portuguese counterpart in Caparica, the festival also includes a wider programme of workshops, wellness sessions and community-led events designed to foster deeper connections between people, place and sound.
