Naz blends mood and movement with new single, ‘Nafas’
The title of the track translates to “breathe” in Farsi

Australian-Iranian producer, DJ and fantasy author Naz has released her latest single, ‘Nafas’, a track that fuses techno, industrial influences and broken beats into an intense and evolving soundscape.
Translating to “breathe” in Farsi, the single unfolds through reverberating beats, hypnotic female vocals and layered synths, culminating in a dramatic breakdown and climactic release.
“Nafas was made with a journey in mind. This track really fits with the theme of when things feel rushed and intense and a little scary, and everything is building up ready to explode, so you just need to take a moment to 'just breathe’,” Naz tells Undrtone.co.uk. The breakdown and drop perfectly capture this feeling indeed, building tension and suspense before releasing it with the words ‘just breathe’.
Naz has rapidly gained recognition for her distinctive approach to electronic music, releasing on labels such as Anjunabeats and Enhanced Music. Her productions are known for their emotive depth and dynamic range, elements that have helped define her presence on the global stage. She has performed at major festivals and venues, including Creamfields, Brooklyn Mirage, The Gorge, Piknic Electronik and Drumheds, alongside artists such as Tale Of Us, CamelPhat and Above & Beyond.
Beyond her work as a producer and DJ, Naz has expanded her creative vision with New Eden Records, a multimedia label she launched in 2023. The project merges fantasy storytelling, music and live visuals, reflecting her broader artistic ambitions.
An animated music video accompanies Naz's latest single, with visual effects crafted by visual artist Jimmy Meneyerji.
