New FL Studio 21 released as free update for existing customers
Features include a more powerful Audio envelope and gain controls, as well as autosaving projects every minute – requested by Afrojack
FL Studio 21, the new version of the popular digital audio workstation (DAW), has been released as a free update for all existing customers.
It comes with several new key features, including upgraded audio clips with integrated envelopes, more precise level control and an automatic crossfader; updates to the system browser; a VFX step sequencer; as well as upgrades to various premium plugins
The update also comes with the ability to autosave projects every minute, which was a feature personally requested by Dutch producer and DJ Afrojack.
Announcing the news on Instagram, the developers of FL Studio wrote: “Introducing faster and more precise audio editing, improved content discovery, control over the mood of the DAW and even more inspirational, creative tools.
“All free for existing customers because we LOVE your Lifetime Free Updates! To celebrate the release [of] FL Studio Producer Edition, All plugins Bundles are ON SALE!” it continued.
People have reacted positively to the news, with musician BOMBS AWAY commenting: “the best just got better. What a beast.”
Another user wrote: “FL 21 TO THE MOON.”
