Palestinian-founded ticketing platform Tzkrti opens fund for artists, collectives and organisers
Focusing on projects in SWANA and the Arab diaspora, the biannual initiative awards two $3,000 microgrants per cycle
Palestinian-founded ticketing platform Tzkrti has introduced a new funding initiative aimed at supporting independent cultural production across the SWANA region and the Arab diaspora, opening applications for its newly established Cultural Impact Fund.
The programme is designed to assist grassroots organisers, collectives and artists working across music, live performance, festivals and the wider arts ecosystem. Structured as a biannual initiative, the fund awards two $3,000 microgrants per cycle, backing projects that can be realistically delivered with lean budgets while generating meaningful cultural impact.
Fully financed by Tzkrti, the fund seeks to strengthen visibility, experimentation and equity within Arab cultural scenes, while helping amplify stories emerging from local communities and diasporic networks. Selected projects will also be documented and promoted through Tzkrti’s editorial and storytelling channels, including its Tzkrti Stories platform, with features, interviews and visual coverage intended to expand audiences and trust.
The initiative targets independent artists, collectives and non-profit organisers, as well as live events, festivals, collaborations and cultural spaces rooted in Arab contexts or diaspora communities. Projects will be assessed according to their cultural relevance, originality and innovation, community impact, and feasibility within the $3,000 framework, alongside their contribution to local cultural ecosystems.
Applications for the current open call will close on March 1, with selected grantees set to be announced on April 1. During this pilot phase, projects will be selected directly by Tzkrti, with no public voting component.
