R3HAB channels his most introspective work yet on third studio album, ‘Dream inside a dream…’

Dutch-Moroccan DJ and producer R3HAB has released his third studio album, 'Dream inside a dream…', describing it as his most personal and introspective project to date. Across 12 tracks, the record explores themes of love, loneliness, gratitude, self-discovery and acceptance, offering a deeply reflective look at the experiences that have shaped one of electronic music's most recognisable names.

Rather than simply presenting a collection of songs, 'Dream inside a dream…' reflects on the moment when long-held ambitions become reality. As a teenager, Fadil El Ghoul dreamed of travelling the world through music. More than 15 years later, following performances on major festival stages, billions of streams and collaborations across the globe, he found himself asking a different question: what comes after the dream has come true?

Looking inward rather than chasing external validation, the album explores presence, vulnerability, identity and gratitude through a blend of euphoric electronic production, intimate songwriting and personal storytelling. Together, the tracks document both the triumphs and uncertainties of personal growth, celebrating not only life's defining milestones but also the quieter moments of reflection that accompany them. Each track on 'Dream inside a dream…' represents a different emotional chapter, with its own distinct sonic identity.

The album was rolled out gradually throughout the year, beginning with 'I had a dream…' earlier this year. By 17 July, 9 of its 12 tracks had already been shared over a series of releases, offering listeners an extensive preview ahead of the album's arrival.

Speaking about the album's title track, R3HAB said: “'Dream inside a dream…' is the cornerstone of the album, which is out today. This song is a reminder to myself to keep dreaming, even when it feels like I've already lived so much of what I once imagined. As a kid I dreamed of success, and many of these early dreams have come true. The way that dreams inspire more dreams now has me feeling like I'm living a dream inside a dream. But life keeps giving, and every new season brings dreams of its own. This song is about staying present and being thankful for each one. Don't wake me up!”
