RÜFÜS DU SOL have delivered soulful rendition of Nirvana's Kurt Cobain-written song
Australian trio RÜFÜS DU SOL, consisting of Tyrone Lindqvist, Jon George, and James Hunt, have given a captivating interpretation to Nirvana's famous song “Something In The Way” from the 1991 album “Nevermind” with their cover performance.
Featuring fresh drum sounds, new dance arrangements, and their own vocals, RÜFÜS DU SOL were accompanied by a string quartet during their performance recorded at the Triple J Studios. The lyrics, written by Kurt Cobain, are among the most listened-to and most strongly ingrained in memories among the 13 tracks on Nirvana's “Nevermind” album.
The trio won a Grammy awards this year, in the Best Dance Recording category for their song “Alive”. The track was first released in the summer of 2021 with Solomun and Anyma remixes, and was also included on the trio's fourth studio album “Surrender”, which came out in autumn 2021.
