Serhan Sabanlar has debuted on Habitat Label Group with ‘Viciosa’, a two-track release featuring an Ozgur Uzar remix.
The release revisits the 1995 dance classic ‘Viciosa (Pure Dance Mix)’ by Sueño Latino & Valeria Vix, reinterpreting its timeless energy.
‘Viciosa’ represents Sabanlar’s first outing on Habitat Label Group, joining its roster in the tech-house space. The package comes as a main original and an Ozgur Uzar rework, each tailored to distinct club settings and listening moods. Dropped through the label’s core imprint, it reinforces Habitat’s aim to nurture distinctive new voices across house and minimal styles.
The release follows the Turkey-based artist’s prior outings including ‘Parranda’ (2022) and ‘Secrets’ (2024), alongside earlier cuts dating back to ‘To the Vibe’. These drops trace an arc from upbeat Latin-tinged house to straighter tech-house forms, setting the stage for his Habitat Label group debut.
Serhan Sabanlar’s name is closely associated with Istanbul’s Radio 2019, widely regarded as Turkey’s first dedicated electronic music station, established in 1994.
