The sixth Moroccan edition of MOGA Festival arrives in Essaouira this week
The festival takes place with OFF days 1–2 October and IN days 3–4–5 October

The 6th edition of MOGA Festival in Morocco is set to take place this week, bringing its distinctive blend of electronic music and cultural exchange back to Morocco’s Atlantic coast.
The 2025 programme features more than 70 artists across house, techno, Afro and global sounds. The latest names added to the line-up include Dorian Craft, Enzo Leep, Jorge Caiado, Luca Saporito (Audiofly), Magda and Rita Soko. They join previously announced acts such as Apollonia, Bonobo, Cabanne, DJ Tennis, Folamour, Janeret, Patrick Mason and Saoirse.
Running across five days, MOGA begins with its OFF programme on 1–2 October, offering free daytime activities, cultural events and intimate parties in Essaouira’s historic medina. From 3–5 October, the IN programme moves to Hôtel le Golf d’Essaouira & Spa, where four stages and two pools provide the setting for the main festival.
In addition to the music, MOGA continues to highlight Essaouira’s local culture, drawing inspiration from the city’s Gnawa heritage while also presenting wellness sessions, creative workshops, culinary pop-ups and art installations. The festival is expected to welcome around 16,000 attendees, further establishing its reputation as one of the leading boutique gatherings in the autumn festival circuit.
