TikTok integrates Anghami into ‘Add to Music App’ feature across MENA region

TikTok has added Anghami to its ‘Add to Music App’ feature, enabling users across the Middle East and North Africa to save tracks from TikTok directly into their Anghami music libraries.

The feature, which allows TikTok users to transfer songs they discover on the platform to their preferred streaming services, is now available in several MENA markets, including Saudi Arabia, Egypt and the UAE. With this integration, Anghami becomes the latest service to join the initiative, following similar partnerships with other major streaming services.

Originally launched in the US and UK, ‘Add to Music App’ has, according to TikTok, generated more than one billion track saves globally since its wider rollout in 2024, along with what the company describes as “many billions more streams” on partner platforms.

The feature appears as an “Add Song” button at the bottom of a TikTok video. Once tapped for the first time, users can select Anghami as their default platform, where the track will be added to their ‘Likes’. This setting can be changed at any time through the app’s Settings and Privacy menu.
