The Tehran-born now Washington-based DJ and producer Sharam sees his 2006 rendition of Eddie Murphy's 1985 hit 'Party All The Time' reimagined in a fresh collaborative remix by techno stalwarts Adam Beyer, Layton Giordani and Green Velvet.

This song was originally the lead single from the comedian and actor Eddie Murphy's debut album 'How Could It Be' in 1985, securing the number two spot on the Billboard Hot 100 for three consecutive weeks, just behind Lionel Richie's 'Say You, Say Me'.

Sharam, real name is Sharam Tayebi, brought a new life to this classic tune with a remix titled 'PATT' (short for "Party All The Time") released on the Ministry of Sound's sub-label Data Records in 2006. This version climbed its way up to number eight on the UK singles chart shortly after its release.

In 1991, Sharam and Dubfire (Ali Shirazinia) formed Deep Dish, a DJ and production duo that became notable for their productions and DJ sets. In 2006, the duo disbanded and moved to solo careers but in 2014 they reunited, releasing a new single titled 'Quincy'.

In the meantime, the Yoshitoshi Recordings founder Sharam revisits 'Get Wild,' his seminal track from 15 years ago, with a fresh remix that pays homage to its legacy and the unexpected creative path it forged. The new '1.5 remix' combines classic vocals with modern electronic styles, setting the stage for his upcoming LP announcement.

The new remix of 'PATT' by Adam Beyer, Layton Giordani and Green Velvet will be out digitally on April 5 on Drumcode Records.
