Sandbox Festival announces full line-up for 2023 edition

The countdown has begun as the highly-anticipated Sandbox Festival’s 2023 edition approaches, set to take place from May 11-13. The festival organisers have announced their line-up of top-tier performers, guaranteed to deliver an unforgettable musical experience.

Located on the picturesque Red Sea Riviera in Egypt, the festival boasts a breathtaking setting that will serve as the perfect backdrop for an impressive list of acts. Among the headliners are Agents Of Time (DJ Set), Astra Club aka Carlita b2b DJ Tennis, Cici, Dan Shake, Denis Sulta, Desiree, Francesco Del Garda, Hamish & Toby, HVOB (Live), Jayda G, Moodymann, Palms Trax, Sama' Abdulhadi, Seth Troxler, Sugar Free and many more.

For the past decade, Sandbox has established itself as a destination festival that every music, travel, and culture enthusiast should experience at least once. It's a gathering where fans can connect with like-minded ones and appreciate the safe and stunning local environment while enjoying magical sunsets and sunrises.

In addition to the musical performances, the festival offers a plethora of activities that cater to adrenaline junkies, such as kite-surfing, desert excursions and hikes, diving, boating, and dining.

Musically, the festival promises to deliver a diverse array of local and international acts across multiple stages, each with their unique style, sound, and vibe. Sandbox has been a driving force behind the underground music scene in the region, pioneering the inclusion of international acts like Peggy Gou, Dixon, Damian Lazarus, Monolink and Denis Sulta, among others. The festival's annual line-ups set the bar higher each year, solidifying its reputation as a tastemaker in the industry. 2023 is no exception, with a line-up that promises to be the biggest and most impressive yet.

The 2023 edition of the festival is set to be an exceptional one, with several noteworthy performances lined up for attendees. One of the most exhilarating moments to look forward to is the special back-to-back set by Carlita and DJ Tennis as Astra Club, along with a performance by Hamish & Toby. The two-day gathering will also feature live sets by HVOB, Oden & Fatzo, Husa & Zeyada and Chiati.

The city of Detroit will also be well-represented, with Mahogany Music boss Moodymann leading the charge as the house music maestro. Label artist Dan Shake and Midwest luminary Seth Troxler will also be in attendance, bringing their unique and intoxicating sounds to the festival. These acts are sure to captivate and electrify the crowd with their signature grooves.

Attendees will be taken on a journey of minimal, breaks, electro and techno from forward-thinking selectors CiCi, Francesco Del Garda, Sugar Free, Palms Trax and Sama’ Abdulhadi, the trailblazer from Palestine. Carista will bring soulful sounds, &ME will bring deep tech, Denis Sulta will get the party started, and Grammy-nominated Jayda G will keep the floors filled. Aly Goede, Deer Jade, Desiree, DJ Seinfeld, Fulltone, Ralph Nasr, Kotoe, Madmotormiquel, Nickodemus, Olympe, Paramida, Omar Fayyad and Vinyl Mode will also be part of the experience.
