The hedonistic beauty of The Ballroom Blitz’s Dubai debut in 15 photos
The Ballroom Blitz’s Dubai debut was celebrated in style early this month
One of Lebanon's best locations for underground dance music, The Ballroom Blitz made its Dubai debut, in collaboration with the UAE-based record label and party series Boogie Box.
Having run on February 3 at Coda, the gathering had two stages; featuring Dutch producer and DJ Identified Patient, and The Ballroom Blitz's residents Bakisa and Ronin at The Ballroom Blitz Room, and a fitting 6-hour b2b set from Hassan Alwan and Shadi Megallaa at Boogie Box Room. Shadi played at Boogie Box for the first time since his return as a resident, alongside the Boogieman Hassan Alwan.
First opening its doors back in October 2018, The Ballroom Blitz has quickly turned into one of Lebanon's favourite underground nightclubs with its focus on the sensory experience of music, and bringing through new local talent. On the other hand, the Dubai collective Boogie Box celebrated their 11th anniversary by throwing a party in Dubai past November with the likes of Anthony Parasole, Rudoh, Ralph Nasr and Shellwell, among others.
