Drum-led energy drives 3Phaz’s new offering on ‘SIIIX, Vol.2’
Released by Brussels-based Maloca Records, the six-track compilation also features Rrose, Uwalmassa, Zoë Mc Pherson, Ale Hop and Grischa Lichtenberger

Cairo-based DJ and producer 3Phaz has contributed a new track titled ‘Clunk & Rattle’ to ‘SIIIX, Vol.2’, the latest compilation released by Brussels label Maloca Records.
The project, now in its second edition, is developed in collaboration with the Netherlands-based experimental percussion ensemble HIIIT (formerly known as Slagwerk Den Haag), which has once again invited six producers from around the globe to work with its extensive library of drum recordings.
3Phaz brings his signature percussive intensity to the release with a track built around restless drum patterns and sharp, kinetic textures, standing out for its energetic rhythmic structure. The track is part of an international line-up that also includes Ale Hop, Uwalmassa, Rrose, Grischa Lichtenberger and Zoë Mc Pherson.
Each artist engaged in a digital exchange with HIIIT, building compositions around newly recorded percussion elements tailored for the project. The result is a compilation that underscores collaborative creation and a shared focus on rhythm, offering a diverse palette of percussive interpretations.
