ILyes and Emma B share their first collaborative EP ‘Feelings’ on Shall Not Fade

ILyes and Emma B have released their collaborative EP, Feelings, via Bristol‑based label Shall Not Fade. The six-track EP features original mixes of “Feelings”, “House Of Love” and “Afraid”, alongside remixes by Luke Alessi and Inafekt.

The North Africa-hailing, now Paris-based producer Ilyes Sedjal, known professionally as ILyes, approaches production with a focus on groove, atmosphere and subtle emotion. His recent work demonstrates a careful balance between melodic phrasing and rhythm-driven structure, often drawing on minimal yet expressive sonic textures. On the ‘Feelings’ EP, he joined forces with the Paris-based DJ, producer and vocalist Emma B to craft a release that leans into understated warmth and fluid, dance-oriented arrangements.

Shall Not Fade, founded in Bristol in December 2015 by Kieran Williams, has grown from a small garage‑run operation into a respected independent label with a diverse roster. It’s known for championing deep house, techno, breaks and bass across its main imprint and sub‑labels, and its visual identity is noted for distinctive artwork. Recent label highlights include releases by Red Axes, Luuk Van Dijk, Cinthie, DJ Boring and Felipe Gordon, reflecting its commitment to both emerging and established artists.

In a collaborative Instagram post, Emma B (real name Emma Bonneaud) commented: “So excited to finally share my second vinyl EP on Shall Not Fade, this one is extra special because I made it with my friend ILyes. We’ve been cooking this up for some time, and every track tells a bit of our story, with all the feelings we had in that moment. Big love to Luke Alessi and Inafekt for their killer remixes.”
