Baset becomes first Egyptian artist to collaborate with Anyma on new single

Egyptian DJ/producer Baset has released his latest single, ‘Neverland (From Japan)’, in collaboration with Anyma via Interscope Records.

Out today (28 March), ‘Neverland (From Japan)’ marks a significant step in Baset’s journey, positioning him as the first artist from Egypt to work with Anyma and sign to the globally renowned Interscope roster.

The release arrives as the most anticipated track from Anyma’s headline Sphere Vegas run, capturing the attention of electronic music circles ahead of its official drop. Built around euphoric melodies and a stirring emotional arc, it shows just how far Baset has come in refining a sound that connects on both a personal and dancefloor level.

Based in Cairo and active since 2014, Baset has been steadily shaping his sound across the melodic techno and dance spectrum. His career saw a major turning point with ‘Sierra’, a collaboration with Argy that introduced his name to international audiences via Cercle Records last year.

Known for blending hopeful and driving elements into his music, Baset continues to build on more than a decade of artistic exploration, with ‘Neverland (From Japan)’ now marking his biggest release to date.
