Beatport launches new sample pack label, 'Beatport Sounds'
Anastasia Kristensen, Marshall Jefferson and object blue have all created bespoke packs
Beatport has launched a sample pack label: 'Beatport Sounds' — which will drop exclusive samples from electronic music producers on a monthly basis.
Dance music acts on the roster include Anastasia Kristensen, Steve Lawler, and Marshall Jefferson.
Each of the "Artist Series" sample packs has its own unique concept that matches the sound of each artist. For example, UMEK's 'Techno Fundamentals' set includes traditional hats, snares, and kicks. 'Off Kilter Techno' is a sample bundle by object blue that features odd and unfamiliar noises.
Anastasia Kristensen's 'Future Retro Techno' bundle includes sounds created using vintage hardware that has been manipulated in a modern manner.
In order to download Beatport Sound sample packs, you will need a Loopcloud subscription, which comes at $7.99 per month.
Loopmasters' Loopcloud software programme and website are the only ways to get Beatport Sounds sample bundles. Subscribers may search through 20 years of samples and sync them in real-time with their DAW.
A Loopcloud membership also includes a collection of instrument plugins that let you audition, loop, chop, tune, and alter these sounds in new and interesting ways. Learn more here.
In addition to the sample packs provided by producers and artists, Beatport will also be publishing “dedicated genre packs” - which give detailed breakdowns and represent some of the best performing genres on the site.
