Dubai Opera has announced that renowned UK electronica artist Bonobo, whose real name is Simon Green, will take to the stage for a highly anticipated performance featuring his new album, ‘Fragments’. The album is a tribute to nature and movement, and will be showcased during his Dubai Opera performance on March 11, 2023.
With seven Grammy nominations and a successful career that includes selling out London's Alexandra Palace three times, performing at Coachella, Glastonbury, Lollapalooza, Primavera Sound, and Fuji Rock, and achieving a top ten album in multiple countries, a top five album in the UK, and a number one dance album on the Billboard chart with Migration, Bonobo is a prominent figure in the dance music industry. He has collaborated with notable artists the likes of Erykah Badu, Ólafur Arnalds, and Jon Hopkins, and has also produced remixes for Michael Kiwanuka, Gorillaz, George Fitzgerald, and London Grammar.
‘Fragments’, which came out early this year via Ninja Tune, is sure to be one of the most remarkable electronic albums of the year and, according to many, Green's masterwork. It features powerful, hypnotic electronic sounds, captivating acoustic instruments, and powerful, emotive songs.
