German-Iraqi artist Boys Noize has unveiled his latest venture, a fresh imprint dubbed ONES and ZEROS.
Billed as an "experimental concept label," ONES and ZEROS is set to champion a diverse roster of artists, with a keen focus on pushing the boundaries of techno’s next chapter. The label’s debut offering, a hefty compilation titled ‘Boys Noize presents ONES and ZEROS’, is out packing tracks from the likes of Slim Soledad, Schacke, ØTTA, David Löhlein, SCNTST, Baseck, and Boys Noize himself, among others.
ONES and ZEROS joins Boys Noize’s other label, Boysnoize Records, and its sub-label, BNR TRAX. Before the official announcement, Boys Noize hinted at the label through its Instagram account. Since January, the page has been sharing witty predictions about dance music’s future, such as "Most techno influencer content is filmed in fake clubs at the mall" and "Playing 192kbps MP3s amplifies 5G DNA damage."
