Berlin-based German-Iraqi producer, songwriter and DJ Boys Noize (Alexander Ridha) has delivered his own twist on Yeah Yeah Yeahs’ new song, entitled ‘Wolf’.

Initially released within the band’s fifth studio album, ‘Cool It Down’, in the late September, ‘Wolf’ is among the eight tracks in the album which marks Yeah Yeah Yeahs’ first album since 2013's ‘Mosquito’ and their first release through the US label Secretly Canadian.

The band has also shared an official video for the original song, which stars the TV series Severance's Britt Lower. The video, which was directed by Allie Avital, has a compelling plot line and outstanding performance from Lower, who personifies the song's duality.

For his take on the track, on the other hand, Boys Noize pulls some of the signature sounds from the original, but pushes the tempo up and infuses an altered state groove that chugs along over five minutes.
