Cosmicat releases new double single, ‘Lovers Game / Game Over’

Cosmicat has unveiled her first release of 2024, a new double single entitled ‘Lovers Game / Game Over’.
Saudi Arabia’s pioneering female DJ and producer invites listeners on a nuanced exploration of love's complexities and its inevitable conclusions. ‘Game Over’ emerges as a stellar solo production, whilst ‘Lovers Game’ is beautifully complemented by Ss.hh.a.n.a's vocals.
In a move that bridges the gap between her and her growing legion of followers, Cosmicat has also partnered with LabelRadar to launch a remix competition for ‘Lovers Game’. This initiative throws down the gauntlet to producers worldwide, challenging them to infuse the track with their distinct flair for a spot on an official remix compilation. The deadline for remix submissions is March 8, Friday.
Born and nurtured in the vibrant city of Jeddah, Cosmicat transcended the conservative taboos surrounding music in her homeland with a fervent passion that knew no bounds. Despite facing a scarcity of record stores and live performance venues, she embarked on her musical journey by acquiring her first set of DJ equipment online, transforming her bedroom into a sanctuary of sound. Through self-education and an innate sense of musical flow, Cosmicat has carved her unique sonic identity, leading her to grace stages at prestigious global festivals including Tomorrowland and EXIT, sharing the stages with the names like R3HAB, Afrojack, Solomun and Peggy Gou.
