DJ Snake explores new horizons on his third album ‘Nomad’

French-Algerian artist DJ Snake has released 'Nomad', a 17-track studio album that explores a wide spectrum of global sounds while marking a new phase in his artistic trajectory.

First unveiled during his historic, sold-out solo performance at Stade de France, a milestone moment as the first electronic music artist to headline the venue alone, the project reflects the producer’s continued evolution from a Paris-born breakout to a globally influential figure. Throughout 'Nomad', DJ Snake draws on a broad palette that moves between reggaeton, Middle Eastern street music and baile funk, shaping a body of work that emphasises cross-cultural exchange over stylistic confinement.

The album arrives as both a long-anticipated release and a considered statement on identity and movement. Speaking on the concept behind 'Nomad', DJ Snake explained: “I grew up surrounded by people from India, the Caribbean, Africa, and the Middle East. That mix shaped everything I heard. ‘Nomad’ is a tribute to that upbringing… always moving, always learning, always blending what the world has to offer. ‘Nomad’ goes beyond an album tracklist. It's a cultural statement.”

Featuring collaborations with artists such as J Balvin, Stray Kids, Don Toliver, Future, Travis Scott, Amadou & Mariam and Damian Marley, the release positions DJ Snake within a collaborative network that mirrors the transnational narrative at the core of 'Nomad'. Rather than chasing a singular club formula, the project leans into layered production choices that reflect both his personal background and a broader, contemporary global soundscape.
