Echio enables users to submit demos to their favourite artists
The livestreaming platform orchestrated by artists has rolled out a new feature enabling users to send demos directly to their favourite artists
Livestreaming platform Echio has rolled out a new feature enabling users to send demos to established artists.
Unveiled on May 16th, the Demo Feedback feature permits users to share their music with the artists they admire most and obtain tailored feedback, delivered either in written or video format.
Several notable figures in the electronic music scene have already joined the platform, such as Henrik Schwarz, DJ Tennis, Principles of Geometry, Matthew Dear, Paloma Colombe, Lauer, François X and Alan Braxe who led the beginning sessions on the platform earlier this year.
Launched by Joakim Bouaziz (also known as DJ and producer Joakim) and Tom Royer in January, Echio aspires to foster a direct bridge between artists and their fanbase. The platform provides artists with fresh opportunities for revenue generation by monetising tutorials, discussions and Q&A sessions and lets fans watch and interact with their favourite musicians live from their studios. Artists determine the prices and retain 85 percent of the earnings, with Echio pocketing the residual 15 percent.
