Venice Music, the California-based all-in-one music distribution platform, has appointed industry veteran Fadia Kader as their new executive vice president and general manager, according to a recent announcement. Kader will be responsible for overseeing the company's services and community business, which includes A&R, artist marketing, sync and community, streaming/commerce, and web3, and will be leading teams across these departments.

In addition, Kader will also be responsible for driving the company's global A&R strategy and sourcing key music partnerships, while also advising on the products and tools necessary for artists to build and grow their careers. She will report directly to the co-founders, Troy Carter and Suzy Ryoo.

Prior to joining Venice Music, the Kuwait-born Palestinian industry professional Fadia Kader served as the global head of strategic partnerships at Clubhouse. During her tenure, she was responsible for developing and executing the onboarding strategy for partners across various verticals, creating and amplifying social audio moments for creatives and brands like John Mayer, Nicki Minaj, TED, Netflix, and more.

Before Clubhouse, Kader worked on collaborations for artists like Taylor Swift, J Balvin, Billie Eilish, and Verzuz Battle as part of the music partnerships team at Instagram. She also held positions at Twitter, Def Jam Recordings and Complex Networks.

Troy Carter, co-founder and CEO of Venice Music, praised Kader's reputation as a trusted leader and trailblazer within the artist community. “She's a unique bridge between music culture and technology and will be a valuable leader within Venice,” he said.

Kader also expressed her excitement about her new role, stating, “The team at Venice Music and I share a passion for changing the perception of what it takes to be successful as a DIY artist. I'm excited to partner with Troy, Suzy and the team as we continue the dedicated work of educating, empowering, and elevating the independent artist experience.”
